Gauges
IMPORTANT: If testing proves a gauge to be defective, it must be replaced as there
is no repair available.
Removal
1. Disconnect battery cables.
2. Remove wires from back of gauge.
3. Disconnect light socket wiring, if separate.
4. Remove holding strap and remove gauge.
Testing
OIL PRESSURE AND WATER TEMPERATURE
1. Turn ignition switch to the “OFF” position.
2. Remove signal wire from terminal SEND (“S”).

3. Turn ignition switch to the “RUN” position. Gauge being tested must be at position A.

4. Turn ignition switch to the “OFF” position.
