MAIN FLOOR
1. Remove both rocker panels (see "Rocker Panels").
2. Remove the (4) push rivets retaining the drive shaft
cover (S) and remove the cover from the vehicle.
3. Remove the (12) T-40 Torx-head screws retaining
the main floor.
4. Lift and remove the main floor from the vehicle.
FRONT FLOOR
1. Remove the lower dash panel and dash storage
panel (see “Dash Panels / Glove Box Removal").
2. Remove the main floor (see “Main Floor”).
3. Remove the clip and pin (T) securing the brake pedal
to the master cylinder push rod. Using a 13mm
socket, remove the (4) bolts retaining the throttle and
brake pedal mount.
4. Disconnect the pedal position sensor (U) and the (2)
electrical connectors at the EPS unit (V), if equipped.
5. Remove the (3) plastic tie straps retaining the pedal
position sensor harness to the front floor.
NOTE
Skip steps 6 and 7 if the unit is not equipped with EPS
6. Using a 13mm socket, remove the fasteners
retaining the EPS unit to the lower steering shaft.
7. Remove the (4) fasteners (W) for the EPS mount and
remove the EPS unit and mount as one.
8. Remove the lower steering shaft (see “Lower
Steering Shaft Removal”).
