Troubleshooting the browser
This topic describes the troubleshooting of web management
after opening the web browser.
To troubleshoot web management, meet the following
requirements.
îš„ Browser version is too old to support it.
îš„ Address and port number is written wrong in the browser
address fence.
îš„ There is a communication fault between the host and the
equipment.
îš„ Switch management port is not set, or the IP address is not
set in a correct way.
îš„ Web management function of the switch is not enabled.
For the troubleshooting of web management, perform the
following steps.
1. Update the browser version. The version should be above 4.
0.
2. Examine the configuration of the host to get the right IP
address and port number.
3. Examine the connection between the host and the equipment
to make sure that the communication is normal.
4. Set the right management port . on the switch and the right
IP address.
5. Enable web management function of the switch and set the
port number.
