TypeA and typeB of robot
The gear of axis 2 differs depending on the type of robot. Read more about the difference in
section Type A and type B of IRB 6600/6650 on page 427.
Location of gearbox
The gearbox for axis 2 is located in the lower arm rotational center, underneath the cover.
A more detailed view of the component and its position may be found in chapter Exploded
views in the Product manual, reference information.
