5.7.6 Connect the PE wire (Terra 180 and 60)
Preliminary requirements
• The front and right doors
are open.
• Cable lug M11
• Fasteners M11
•
Installation engineer
•
• Make sure that the earthing
connection is in accordance
with the standard IEC
60364-5-54.
• Wire stripper pliers
• Wire cutter
• Crimp plier tool
• Torque socket wrench
Procedure
1. Prepare the PE wire.
a. Cut the PE wire (A) to the length that is sufficient for connection to the PE
busbar (B).
b. Install the cable lug (C) to the end of the wire. Use the crimp plier tool.
2. Attach the PE wire to the PE busbar. Use the fasteners (D).
3. Tighten the fasteners to the correct torque. For the specification, refer to
section 10.7.
