Checking the springs
•
Check the springs for signs of damage,
and replace them if necessary.
•
Measure the free length of the clutch
springs, and replace them if necessa-
ry.
Free length of the clutch spring: 66.5 mm (2.62
in)
Assembling the clutch
•
Fit the shim washer.
•
Fit the needle bearing and the spacer.
•
Fit the clutch housing.
•
Make sure that the oil pump control
drive gear of the clutch housing engag-
es correctly with the oil pump driven
gear.
