Extract the timing chain from the crank-
shaft.
NOTE
IT IS ADVISABLE TO MARK THE CHAIN IN ORDER TO EN-
SURE THAT THE INITIAL DIRECTION OF ROTATION IS
MAINTAINED.
•
Remove the timing chain complete
with the gear.

Remove the chain tensioner and the
camshafts for the head in question.
FRONT HEAD
•
In order to remove the front head's
chain sliders, it is necessary to remove
the clutch cover.
•
Unscrew and remove the mobile chain
tensioner slider's screw.
•
Remove it by extracting it from the
head.
