Unscrew and remove the fixed chain
tensioner slider's screw.

The head must be removed in order to
remove it.
REAR CYLINDER HEAD
•
In order to remove the rear head's
chain sliders, it is necessary to remove
the flywheel.
•
Unscrew and remove the mobile chain
tensioner slider's screw.
•
Remove it by extracting it from the
head.
•
Unscrew and remove the fixed chain
tensioner slider's screw.
•
The head must be removed in order to
remove it.

Check the timing chain for damage or stiffness while moving. If required, replace both the timing chain
and the camshaft sprocket wheels.
Check the timing chain guide for damage. If necessary, replace the parts.
