1-6-9 Charge erasing section
(1) Detaching and refitting the PTC unit
Procedure
1. Open the front cover. Turn lever A2 to left.
2. Remove the inner cover (see page 1-6-59).
3. Remove the connector and pull out the PTC
unit.

4. When refitting the PTC unit, fit the cut of the
unit onto the guide, and then insert the unit.

(2) Detaching and refitting the PTC cleaning pad
Follow the procedure below to replace the PTC cleaning pad.
Procedure
1. Remove the PTC unit.
2. Open the PTC cleaning pad outside and
remove the pad from the PTC unit.
3. Replace the PTC cleaning pad and attach
the pad to the PTC unit.
4. Refit the PTC unit.
