Connecting Rod Installation
1. Lubricate the piston pin with oil and assemble the piston to the connecting rod. Always
use new circlips.
IMPORTANT: Install side of connecting rod marked with a “Y” towards “UP” on pis-
ton.

Piston Ring Installation
1. Install the oil ring components as shown. Align upper oil ring rail ends with locating pin.
Spread rings just enough to slip over piston.
