Valve Block Removal
1. Remove two screws from the shock rod cylinder
to separate the valve block.

2. Remove O-rings and dowel pins.

Memory Piston Removal
1. Remove memory piston from cylinder using one
of two methods:
a. Using lock ring pliers (a) (Craftsman P/N
4735) or (Snap-on P/N SRP4).

b. Blowing compressed air into center O-ring
hole.
WARNING
Memory piston cup may be expelled at a high
velocity when air pressure is applied. Failure to
place cylinder as shown below could result in
personal injury.
NOTE: Point cylinder opening down and away. Use
a shop rag or towel to avoid damage to the memory
piston. Fluid will blow out also.
