• Bnk1:<device>: Transferred software in bank 1.
• Bnk2:<device>: Transferred software in bank 2.
• <device>: Installed and Running Software.
NOTICE: The Table format can be used (instead of the Diagram format) to view the
Installed and Running Software in the Device
view.

Disabling FTP Service
When and where to use: Follow this procedure to disable the FTP service after the transfer and
installation of the software is completed.
Procedure:
1 Launch a Secure SHell (SSH) terminal server session in PuTTY to access the Unified Network
Configurator (UNC) UNC Server Administration menu. See the Securing Protocols with SSH
manual.
2 From the UNC Server Administration menu, select Unix Administration. Press
ENTER.
3 From the Unix Administration menu, select FTP Services. Press ENTER.
4 From the FTP Services menu, select Disable FTP service. Press ENTER.
The FTP services are disabled and unavailable for software transfer and install operations.
5 To back out of the menus, press Q three times.
6 At the prompt, enter: exit to return to the previous menu.
7 To log out of the application, enter: exit.
8 Close the PuTTY connection.
