INSTALLATION
1. Install the battery straight down into the vehicle.
2. Install hold down clamp over the battery and slide
towards the front of the vehicle to engage the hold
down clamp.
3. Install the fastener

to secure the battery hold down
clamp and torque to specification.
TORQUE
Battery Hold Down Clamp:
6 ft-lbs (8 Nm)
4. Connect the red positive cable first, then connect the
black negative cable. Torque to specification.
TORQUE
Battery Terminal Fastener:
40 in-lbs (5 Nm)
5. Install the storage bin under the passenger seat.
6. Engage the passenger seat in the seat brackets and
rotate until engaged in the seat grommet.
