Customizing the CX5500 Unified
Conference Station
You can make basic customizations to the CX5500 unified conference station that include changing the time
and date format, setting a background, changing the screen brightness, and customizing audio settings.

Password Required to Customize the CX5500
Many of the features on the CX5500 can be enabled or customized from the Basic settings menu. If your
system administrator has set up the unified conference station to require a password to access the Basic
settings menu, you cannot customize the unified conference station without the permission of your system
administrator. Contact your system administrator for assistance enabling or customizing the unified
conference station’s features.
Set the Language
The unified conference station supports several languages that you can choose to display. Check with your
system administrator to find out which languages are supported on the unified conference station.
To change the language:
1 Navigate to Settings > Basic > Preferences > Language.
2 From the Language screen, select a language.
The language on the unified conference station updates automatically.
