6. Install the dust filter assembly back at the front side of the projector. Use a 7mm flat screwdriver to fasten the
two captive screws. Ensure that the two mounting lips (reference 2 Image 23-1) of the assembly are engaged
in the projector chassis.
The dust filter is cleanable. See cleaning procedure for correct cleaning and drying instructions.
23.2 Check the small dust filter
Required tools
7mm flat screwdriver.
How to check the small dust filter?
1. Loosen the captive screw (reference 1 Image 23-3) of the small dust filter assembly using a 7mm flat
screwdriver.
2. Remove the dust filter assembly from the projector by pivoting the assembly away from the projector as
illustrated. Note that the other side of the assembly contains a mounting lip (reference 2 Image 23-3) which is
engaged in the projector chassis.
