Caution!
The vacuum pump has to be adapted to the line voltage system; all other
components are prepared for wide range power supply.
4.3.3 External requirements
The installation of the M4 TORNADO requires several external prerequisites. They are listed in
Table 7.

Room / Instrument Requirements
Optimal room temperature 22 °C – 28 °C
The main components have a temperature compensation that allows
the user to work in a wide temperature range.
Too high temperatures can influence the correct working of the
instrument.
Working temperature range 18 °C – 32 °C
Relative humidity 20 % – 80 %, not condensed
Heat production The instrument and the connected components produce a heat loss
of about 150 W, which is emitted to the surrounding.
Compartment air Free of corrosive fumes, no intensive dust exposure
Pump noise The vacuum pump makes noise when it starts pumping. After
reaching the final pressure, the pump runs only at the leakage rate
and is quite.
