Object Description Hints
Moves the stage to the start point of
the highlighted object.
Deletes the highlighted object(s). The same function is also possible with
the Delete button.
Opens a legend for the running
Auto-Point measurement
Different settings for the measurement time and mode are possible for the spectrum acquisition.
The setup can be done with the dialog that opens with the downward-facing arrow next to the
button.
Automatic stop of the measurement
according to the required accuracy
Finishing of the measurement with
given measurement time or preset
counts in a defined energy region

6.7.2 Measurement and data evaluation
The measurement can be started with the button. The stage moves then in the first
position of the first defined object and starts the measurement. The following hints can be
important for the measurement:
It is possible to set the element list before starting the measurement. The element settings will
be then used for the analysis of all spectra.
The spectrum display can be simplified if not all spectra are displayed – uncheck the
checkbox All for spectrum display. In that case only the first spectrum and the currently
measured spectrum will be displayed.
Another reduction is possible by not using the bar graphic spectrum display.
