2.3 SMS Password
To enter the SMS menu for the Web MMI or the Handset, you will need to enter the
SMS password. The passwords are the same for the Web MMI and the Handset.
The default value of this password is the same with the password for the Administrator's
mode; 01234567. This password can be changed from the Web MMI.
2.3.1 Handling the SMS Password
1. Enter the SMS menu upon the Web MMI
When entering the SMS menu, you will be required to input the SMS password.
You can make a setting not to have this password required. In this case, place a tick
for “Save Password”. This function is valid for each PCs, and the factory setting
value is set to request for the SMS password.
To be requested for the SMS password when the SMS menu is opened, open SMS
Settings in the SMS menu, enter the password in the “Password” field, and then remove
the tick for “Save Password”.
If you place a tick into “Save
password”, the screen which
requests you for the
password will no longer be
displayed when you enter the
SMS menu.
