2. Reset the hardware of the Communication unit
You can leave the SIM card inserted in the slot while resetting the hardware.
Open the cover of the SIM card slot for the Communication unit, and turn the power on
while pressing the “Hardware Reset” switch.
Keep on pressing the “Hardware Reset” switch until all LEDs except from the POWER
LED starts blinking at high speed. Now you have completed the initialization process. All
setup values excluding the settings for the SIM menu and the items stored in the SIM card
will be restored to the default values.
As for the items subject for being initialized, refer to page 10-44.

Address book: Phone number + name
SMS (Short Message Service) messages
IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) number
SIM settings: SIM Enable/Disable
PIN Code, PUK Code
APN(Access Point Name)
URL and phone number for inquiring for services: Displayed upon “LanchPad”
