How to handle IMEI;
This number is stored in U49: EEPROM for the MODEM board. When you
replace the MODEM board, make sure to replace the EEPROM with the
original one.
2. IMSI
IMSI is the abbreviation of International Mobile Subscriber Identity. If the SIM card is
not inserted in the Communication unit, IMSI will not be displayed.
When communication is to be made, IMSI will be sent to the provider, and the provider
will be able to identify which user is attempting to establish communication using what
kind of terminal.
IMSI is stored in the SIM card issued by the subscribing provider.
10.3.2 Modem information
1. CPU version
1650207-xx.xx
The CPU software number of the MODEM board is displayed.
2. DSP1 version
1650208-xx.xx
The DSP1 software number of the MODEM board is displayed. DSP1 is equipped with
the audio CODEC function.
