11.2.2 Satellite Acquire Sequence
The Antenna unit has several different STATUSes from search to tracking, and is also
equipped with a tracking algorithm to change its status automatically.
The Antenna unit can also be controlled by using various commands from the
Communication unit such as gaining antenna information, changing STATUS, and
changing satellites.
The procedure for acquiring the satellite is; “Determine the elevation angle and detect
signal by either SEEK_ELEVATION_ST or SEEK1_ST -> determine the azimuthal
angle by SEEK2_ST -> acquire the satellite”.
The STATUS of the Antenna unit is to be constantly monitored, and when the system is
time out, the STATUS or the Channel is to be changed to acquire the satellite.
