10.5.4 Self Test for the Handsets
Self test for the Handsets will need to be executed separately for each individual
Handset. The Communication unit is not relevant for the self test.
If the test result turns out to be “NG”, Replace the Handset.
Procedure)
1. Open Settings -> 6 Self test, enter the Password, and select OK.
The password to be entered here is the password for the administrator: 01234567.
Reference)
You can set the administrator's password separately for the individual Handset
via; Main -> Settings -> 4. Password.
2. Self test will be executed, and after a while, the screen will switch to the test
results Reports screen.
x ROM:
The check result for the Handset ROM Read/Write is displayed.
x RAM:
The check result for the Handset RAM Read/Write is displayed.
x Device IC:
The check results for the Handset PHY IC, CODEC IC, and LCD Driver are
displayed.
