10.9 Initializing
There are two ways to initialize the Communication unit. Each method will delete
different set of data.
 Executing initialization from the Web MMI
 Executing initialization by resetting the hardware
There are two ways to initialize the Handset. Each method will delete different set of data.
 Executing initialization from the screen of the subject Handset
 Executing initialization by resetting the hardware
10.9.1 Initializing the Communication unit
1. Executing initialization from the Web MMI 
You can execute the clearing operation from the Web MMI of an optional PC connected to
the Communication unit via the LAN.
Enter either the Administrator's mode or Service mode, open “Settings” -> Initialize, select
the item you wish to clear, and click [Execute]. After having executed the initialization
process, the Communication unit will be automatically rebooted.
As for the items subject for being initialized, refer to page 10-44.
x Initialize except connect settings:
All settings except from the connection settings in the Communication unit will be
restored to factory default status.
x Initialize all:
All settings in the Communication unit will be restored to factory default status.
