1.3 Have the Web MMI for FELCOM-250/500 Displayed

1.3.1 Overview



You can execute setups, maintenance, and connection/disconnection of Standard IP data

or Streaming IP data upon the Web MMI for FELCOM-250/500. In order to establish

communication, you will need to establish LAN connection the PC and the

Communication unit, and to have a SIM card inserted into the SIM card slot of the

Communication unit.

To have the Web MMI displayed, activate Internet Explorer (IE), and enter the “Own IP

address: 192.168.1.1” set for FELCOM-250/500 into the URL field.

FELCOM-250/500 is equipped of the DHCP and DNS server functions, and can

automatically allocate IP addresses to network terminals such as the Handsets or

Incoming indicators where LAN connection is established.

Usually, it is desirable to have an IP address automatically allocated using the DHCP

function.

In this case, it is recommended to make the setting of; Settings -> Network settings ->

LAN -> IP address -> DHCP server to “Use”, and then to select “Case 1) Automatically

acquire IP address”.

When you have selected “Unuse”, select “Case 2) Use the following IP address”, and

specify the IP address to make the setting for the PC.

Own IP address of the Communication unit

x IP address : 192.168.1.1 (the IP address for ComHUB of the

Communication unit)

x Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0

DNS server address set to PC

x IP address : 192.168.1.1 (the IP address for ComHUB of the

Communication unit)



Enter the URL into the IE screen

for FELCOM-250/500, and then a

screen to enter the PIN code will

be displayed.
