  If the incoming indicator on your Furuno Marine GPS System doesn't sound, first check that the cable between the incoming indicator and the Communication unit is correctly connected. Adjust the incoming indicator volume by pressing S to increase it. In the Web software, go to Settings ? Basic settings ? Incoming indicator (enabled service) and check if Voice (telephone), FAX, ISDN UDI, ISDN RDI (UDI/ RDI FELCOM 500 only) are selected.

In the Web software, perform a manual satellite search via Main ? satellite search. Also, verify that the ship position data is correct (ensure “No fix” isn't displayed). Finally, in the Web software, navigate to Settings ? Basic Settings ? GPS to confirm that the backup GPS is set correctly.

  If you cannot make internal calls on your Furuno Marine GPS System, verify that the handset and/or analog phone cables are properly connected to the communication unit. If using an analog phone, check the phone number in the Web software under Settings ? Basic settings ? Analog ports. Also, in the web software, check Settings ? PBX settings ? Call limit to ensure the handset mode is NOT set to [Outline only] or [Incoming only]. Lastly, confirm that the same extension number and password are entered in both the handset (Settings ? 3 SIP ? 1 Client set) and the web software (Settings ? PBX settings ? Extension).
