(OK): - Concurrent connection between 256 kbps Streaming IP data and UDI,
RDI, 3.1 k Audio is not available.
- As for connection Streaming IP Data, cannot perform of 256kbps and
128kbps at the same time.
6. When a fixed global static IP address is required, apply for one to the provider.
Unless you apply for one, an IP address will be automatically allocated by the BGAN
network every time you execute data communication (PS).
7. Making phone calls/FAX Communication (refer to page 4-3)
TEL: from vessel -> land
x When the call is to be made via 4 k AMBE+2 to the number “0798 65 2111”
in Japan, the user will need to dial; the country code + area code +
subscriber's number which is 0081 798 65 2111
x When the call is to be made via 3.1k Audio (64 k ISDN), attach the service
code “2*” at the beginning, and dial; “2* 0081 798 65 2111”.
TEL: from land -> vessel (it is the same for when the call is made between vessels)
x When making a phone call to “77 1234567” via 4 k AMBE+2,
dial the 870+ phone number; 870 771234567
x When making a phone call (78 1212121) via 3.1 k Audio (64 k ISDN),
dial; “870 78 1212121”
FAX: from vessel -> land
When making a FAX communication to “0798 65 2111” in Japan, dial the TEL
country code + area code + subscriber's number; 0081 798 65 2111
FAX: from land -> vessel (it is the same when the communication is made between
vessels)
