9-14 Dash 2500 Patient Monitor 2042480-001 C
ECG: Alarms
Display filter
This option sets the filtering level of high frequency noise interference. You can
choose 0.05 to 100 Hz for diagnostic mode, 0.05 to 40 Hz for ST measurement
mode, or 0.5 to 40 Hz for routine monitoring mode. Choose the 0.5 to 40 Hz filter
setting to remove both low and high frequencies from the ECG waveforms. An
example of low frequency interference is a baseline moving around on the
display. An example of high frequency is AC power related interference, or
rapidly changing signals making it difficult to distinguish clean QRS events in the
ECG waveforms. The chosen filter appears next to the lead label in the waveform
area when it is a setting other than 0.5 to 40 Hz, which is the default setting.
QRS width
This option lets you adjust the ECG analysis setting for QRS Width. Normal is the
default setting for adult and pediatric patients. A setting of Normal is used with
ECG rhythms having QRS complex widths of 70 ms or wider. Alternately, you can
choose the Narrow setting with patients having a QRS complex width less than
120 ms.
other alarm priorities
This option lets you choose priorities for VTACH, Lead fail, Replace electrodes,
and Artifact alarms (VTACH is not available with the neonate setting.)
NOTE: In addition to crisis, warning, procedural and message, the priority of
artifact can be set to OFF.
Select ECG’s color
This option lets you choose the color of the parameter’s vital signs on the
Monitor screen.
Config settings
This option allows you to view, but not change, the various configuration
options. To change any config option, you must go into the password-protected
Configuration Mode. Refer to the Dash 2500 Patient Monitor Service Manual
(PN 2042481-001) for more information.
Alarms
In both 3-electrode and 5-electrode configuration, an alarm message will
appear in the waveform field next to the primary waveform lead label if the
parameter detects a loss of all ECG waveforms. The alarm limits that may be
associated with ECG are high and low HR/Pulse and high and low RESP. You can
view or change these limits in two ways:
Choose adjust alarms from the Main Menu and then choose Choose
autoset % and autoset all
or
