turn parameter off
This option lets you suspend all monitoring and alarms for SpO
2
. When you
select this option, no vital sign area is allocated to SpO
2
, and the message
offline-SpO2 appears in the setup parameters option. To resume monitoring,
select offline-SpO2 from the setup parameters option.
NOTE: SpO
2
alarms can only be terminated by either: 1) correcting the cause
of the alarm, 2) turning the parameter off, or 3) if in spot check, simply
acknowledge the alarm.
View waveform?
You can choose this option to have the plethysmographic waveform appear on
the screen. Select yes or no.
Adjust limits
The alarm limits for SpO
2
oxygen saturation and SpO
2
PR are shown in the
following tables. Select hi to change the high alarm limit and lo to change the
low alarm limit. The system maintains appropriate separation between the high
and low limits.
