The chart below gives some general information as to what data is available to
the CIC and how it is handled (trending, alarm broadcast, etc.).
Alarms
In all cases, the alarm settings listed in the table below are in addition to the
settings described in the former chapters. The alarm levels and limits can only
be set in the Dash 2500 patient monitor. Alarm levels viewed at the CIC are
displayed as in the following table:
NOTE: Alarms must be silenced at the Dash 2500 patient monitor. Alarms
cannot be silenced at the central station. The delay time of alarm
condition from Dash 2500 monitor to CIC is less than 5 seconds.
