Battery: Alarms
PROBLEM: The BATTERY LOW alarm appears in the alarm message field, the
battery icon turns red, and the amber LED light flashes.
CAUSE:
The battery is unable to recharge.
SOLUTION:
The battery needs to be recalibrated or is defective. To recalibrate,
simply recharge the battery by plugging the Monitor into AC power. The
recharge time may vary depending upon the current battery charge
status.

Name of Alarm Cause Response
BATTERY LOW remaining life in battery has
reached 15%
message appears in the alarm
message field; once alarm is
acknowledged, the Monitor re-arms
for the detection of this condition
after 10 minutes have elapsed
