11-12 Dash 2500 Patient Monitor 2042480-001 C
NIBP: NIBP Hardkeys
Select NIBP’s color
This option lets you change the color of this parameter’s vital signs that appear
on the Monitor’s screen.
Config settings
This option allows you to view, but not change, the various configuration
options. To change any config option, you must go into the password-protected
Configuration Mode. Refer to the Dash 2500 Patient Monitor Service Manual
(PN 2042481-001) for more information.
NIBP Hardkeys
NIBP Go/Stop Hardkey
The NIBP Go/Stop hardkey initiates a noninvasive blood pressure determination.
If the NIBP Go/Stop hardkey is active, pushing the hardkey again cancels the
determination. If the NIBP Go/Stop hardkey is pushed while in an auto mode
determination, only the determination in progress is canceled; NIBP remains in
auto or custom mode. If the NIBP Go/Stop hardkey is pushed while in stat mode,
both the mode and the determination are canceled.
NOTES
The NIBP Go/Stop hardkey is unavailable if an OVERPRESSURE alarm is
active.
The first push of the NIBP Go/Stop hardkey after the Monitor is first turned
on and while NIBP is still offline prompts the user with a dialog box saying
CAUTION! Cannot detect cuff type automatically! Please choose cuff
type. Selections are Adult/Pediatric and Neonate. Upon confirmation of
one of these, a determination will start.
