CHECK AND TIGHTEN TRACK SHOE BOLTS 4
(Machine equipped with steel shoes, road liners)
If the machine is used with track shoe bolts (1) loose, they will
break, so tighten any loose bolts immediately.
Tightening
1. First, tighten to the initial tightening torque of 196 ± 19.6 N·m (20 ± 2 kgf·m), then check that the nut and shoe
are in tight contact with the link mating face.
2. After checking, tighten each shoe by the additional tightening angle.
Order for Tightening
Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the diagram on the right.
After tightening, check that the nut and shoe are in close con-
tact with the link mating surface.
