CAP WITH LOCK 3
Use the starting key to open and close the locks on the caps and covers.
For details of the locations of the caps and covers with locks, see “LOCKING (3-106)“.
Insert the key as far as it will go to the shoulder. If the key is
turned before it is inserted all the way, it may break.
Opening and Closing Caps with Lock
Opening the Cap
1. Insert the key into the key slot.
2. Turn the key clockwise (counterclockwise for type B), align
the key groove with counter mark (3) on the cap, then open
the cap.
(1): Open
(2): Lock
Locking the Cap
1. Turn the cap until tight, then insert the key into the key slot.
2. Turn the starting switch key counterclockwise (clockwise for the B type) and remove the key.
