SERVICE SCHEDULE
Service schedule
Check the functioning of the electrical equipment.
Check and charge the battery.
Change the engine oil and oil filter and clean the engine oil screen. (r p. 182)
Change the gear oil and clean the gear oil screen. (r p. 185)
Check the Iront brake linings. (r p. 86)
Check the rear brake linings. (r p. 91)
Check the brake discs. (r p. 72)
Check the brake lines for damage and leakage.
Check the rear brake Iluid level. (r p. 95)
Check the Iree travel 01 the foot brake lever. (r p. 94)
Check the frame and swingarm.
Check the swingarm bearing.
Check the heim joints at the top and bottom 01 the shock absorber.
Check the tire condition. (r p. 73)
Check the tire air pressure. (r p. 73)
Check the wheel bearings lor play.
Check the wheel hubs.
Check rim run-out.
Check the spoke tension. (r p. 74)
Check the chain, rear sprocket, engine sprocket and chain guide. ( .. p. 78)
Check the chain tension. (r p. 76)
Grease all moving parts (e.g. side stand, hand lever, chain, .. .l and check lor smooth operation.
Check the Iluid level of the hydrauliC clutch. (r p. 175)
Check the brake Iluid level 01 the front brake. (r p. 89)
Check the Iree travel 01 the hand brake lever. (r p. 88)
Check the steering head bearing play. (r p. 34)
Check the valve clearance.
Check the clutch.
Check all hoses (e.g. luel, cooling, bleeder, drainage, etc.l and sleeves lor cracking, leaks and correct
routing.
Check the anti-Ireeze and coolant level. (r p. 178)
Check the cables lor damage and routing without sharp bends.
Check that the cables are undamaged, routed without sharp bends and set correctly.
Clean the air lilter and air Ii Iter box.
Change the glass liber yarn lilling of the main silencer. (r p. 63)
Check the screws and nuts for tightness.
Check the headlight adjustment. (r p. 100)
Check idle.
Check that the radiator Ian is lunctioning properly. (EXC SIX DAYS, XC.W SIX DAYS)
Final check, Check the vehicle for roadworthiness and take a test ride.
Make the service entry in KTM DEALER. NET and in the service record.
