90 - Options and Accessories
The SC5000 machine may be equipped with optional accessories depending on the needs of the owner. Some
of these accessories don’t directly impact servicing the machine, but some may. So it is good to know what
accessories you may encounter and how they impact the machine.
Beacon

Conguration & Options
Description The beacon is located on the recovery tank and connects into the existing harness
connector. The beacon function can be turned on or off in the options menu.

Description The blue light is a safety device to alert pedestrians of the approaching machine,
especially around corners, by casting a focused blue light onto the oor directly
ahead of the machine. The blue light is active whenever the machine is powered
(when KSI is active).

On Board Charger (OBC)

Conguration
Description The on-board charger is located below the operator’s seat in the battery bay. It is
connected directly to the main battery terminals; so it is not disconnected when the
Anderson connector is disconnected. The charger is connected to the CAN-0 bus
to communicate with the MMC to receive battery-type information and charging
algorithm.

EcoFlex

Conguration and Options
Description EcoFlex is a detergent injection system into the solution line. It is located under
the operator’s seat and consists of a detergent bottle, uid tubing, and a small
diaphragm pump.
