Operational Mode Prerequisites
Before the main controller can activate any of the operational modes, it must rst check that the appropriate
prerequisites are met.
• Drive Controller outputs
– Drive wheel motor
◦ No “interlock” message from the main controller on the CAN bus (only active during auto disc brush
install mode)
Troubleshooting
Drive Controller (A4) Error Codes
The drive controller error codes will be displayed on the main display. However, the error number is also
ashed on the two-color status LED on the module itself. The status LED has 2 colors; red and yellow. The
red LED will ash out which digit of the code is coming next, and the yellow LED will ash out the value of
that digit.
For example, to ash out an M4 Overload error with a code of 034, the red LED will ash once, followed by
the yellow LED ashing 3 times. Then the red LED will ash twice, followed by the yellow LED ashing 4
times.
3-008 Battery Voltage
Description The battery voltage is too high or too low.

3-018 Brake Open
Description The drive controller has detected an open or short circuit on the brake solenoid.
