Main Machine Controller
As the name implies, the Main Machine Controller (MMC) is the primary controller for the system. The
MMC directly or indirectly controls the functions of the machine. Because the MMC controls the on/off
function of the whole machine, it is always receiving logic power through the 5 amp circuit breaker, but
controls the status of the KSI relay to itself and the other controllers.
The MMC communicates with the Power and Drive controllers and the optional TrackClean-1 module
through the CAN Bus. It also uses a second CAN Bus to communicate with the operator interface module.
