Transfer via FTP (1) and Transfer via FTP (2)
Specify the server to which documents that use FTP protocols are sent. To edit information, select a setting. The
maximum number of characters allowed are as follows:
• Name: 18 characters
• Server: 64 characters
• Save in: 128 characters
• User Name: 97 characters
• Password: 32
Note: The option Transfer via FTP (2) is available only if the option Transfer via FTP (1) is configured.
• Address Book: When the server address is registered in the address book, you can use the address book to
specify the address. The address appears on the FTP Transfer screen.
• Resend Attempts: You can set the number of times and the frequency that the device attempts to resend the
information.
• File Format: You can select a file format option for the scanned output.

maximum numbers of characters allowed are as follows:
• Name: 18 characters
• Server: 64 characters
• Shared Name: 18 characters
• Save in: 128 characters
• User Name: 97 characters
• Password: 32 characters
Note: The option Transfer via SMB (2) is available only if the option Transfer via SMB (1) is configured.
• Address Book: When the server address is registered in the address book, you can use the address book to
specify the address. The address appears on the SMB Transfer screen.
