C/Z Folder Overview
The C/Z Folder requires the use of an Interface Decurler Module and one of the following Production Ready
Finishers:
• Production Ready Finisher
• Production Ready Booklet Maker Finisher
• Production Ready Finisher Plus
For information on these finishers, refer to Production Ready Finishers.
The C/Z Folder is an optional finishing device that provides C-fold and Z-fold output for the following paper sizes:
• A4 (210 x 297 mm) or Letter (8.5 x 11 in.)
• A3 (297 x 420 mm) or Tabloid (11 x 17 in.)
To produce folded output, select the FFoolldd feature.
• To use the fold feature, ensure that the orientation of the document is Short Edge Feed (SEF). Ensure that you
select a tray that contains SEF media.
• There are three types of folds available:
– C–Fold
– Z–Fold
– Z–Fold Half Sheet
