“Proj Reverse” is a reverse projection flag that identifies the end of a desired peak or group of peaks.
It is set in the baseline after the end of the peak (see “HBR” in Figure 4-25). With reverse projection,
“Proj Term” is set before the start of the peak—and before “Proj Reverse” (see “HBT” in Figure 4-25).
The system then measures the peak that occurs between HBT and HBR. Line JK in Figure 4-25
represents the baseline.

“Suspend End” permits the operator to suspend automatic baseline determination. It is generally
used when the component peak is badly tailing. “Suspend End” permits you to choose the end-of-
peak determination (see Figure 4-26).
