archive-length
To specify the length of time that logs are maintained in the logging archive, use the archive-length command
in logging archive configuration mode. To return to the default, use the no form of this command.
archive-length weeks
no archive-length
Syntax Description
Length of time (in weeks) that logs are maintained in the archive. Range is 0 to
4294967295.

Usage Guidelines
Use the archive-length command to specify the maximum number of weeks that the archive logs are maintained
in the archive. Any logs older than this number are automatically removed from the archive.

This example shows how to set the log archival period to 6 weeks:
RP/0/0/CPU0:router(config)# logging archive
RP/0/0/CPU0:router(config-logging-arch)# archive-length 6
