snmp-server trap authentication
The snmp-server trap authentication Global Configuration mode command enables the device to send
SNMP traps when authentication fails. Use the no form of this command to disable SNMP failed
authentication traps.
Syntax
• snmp-server trap authentication
• no snmp-server trap authentication
Default Configuration
SNMP failed authentication traps are enabled.
Command Mode
Global Configuration mode.
User Guidelines
There are no user guidelines for this command.
Examples
The following example enables SNMP failed authentication traps.
snmp-server contact
The snmp-server contact Global Configuration mode command configures the system contact
(sysContact) string. To remove system contact information, use the no form of the command.

— Specifies the string that describes system contact information.
(Range: 0 - 160 characters)

This command has no default configuration.
