5.8 About the Confidential Folder
Overview of the Confidential Folder
You can perform confidential printing of the printing features using the con-
fidential folder.
Confidential printing is to not start printing a print job until the configured [Us-
er ID] and [Password] are entered on the Control Panel of the machine. A
print job for confidential printing is stored in the confidential folder.
You can output a confidential output file stored in the confidential folder by
using the [RECALL] tab.
Also, using the [RECALL] tab enables you to create or delete a box in the
confidential folder.

Details
To perform confidential printing, select Secure Print from the computer
to which you installed the printer driver.
For more information on how to perform confidential printing, refer to the
User’s Guide (Printer).
