16.3 If MACHINE Tab Blinks in Orange
If any trouble occurs in the machine, one of the following messages will be
displayed in the message area and the [MACHINE] tab will blink in orange.
- Paper Misfeed: “Mishandled paper”
- Tray Empty: “Please load ## paper”
- Inconformity in Paper Presetting: “Please set paper size and type set-
ting”, “Please set reserved size paper”, “Please load designated paper in
Tray”
With the above message, the [Detail Check ] key will be displayed on the Ma-
chine Status Screen.
% Touch [Detail Check], and follow the instruction on the screen.
16.3.1 Paper Misfeed
If a paper misfeed occurs with the print job in progress, the machine stops
operation and the [MACHINE] tab may blink in orange.
If the Jam Position Screen is displayed after touching [Detail Check], follow
the procedure in “Clearing Mishandled Paper” on page 16-5 to remove mis-
handled paper.
