IMPORTANT ENGINE SERVICE NOTES
The Oil Pump Enrichment Mode Timer MUST be reset
using Digital Wrench whenever the following engine
service actions are completed:
• Engine rebuild
• New cylinder installed
• New pistons / rings installed
• New crankcase installed
• New crankshaft / crank bearings installed
• New water pump cross shaft installed

The Electronic Oil Pump Prime procedure MUST be
performed using Digital Wrench whenever the following
engine service actions are completed and the engine has
been reinstalled back into the chassis:
• Engine rebuild
• New cylinder installed
• New pistons / rings installed
• New crankcase installed
• New crankshaft / crank bearings installed
• New water pump cross shaft installed
• Oil supply hoses to engine have 1 inch (2.54 cm) or
larger air bubbles
• Oil pump is replaced
NOTICE
Perform the Electronic Oil Pump Prime procedure until
ALL of the air is purged from the lines and then prime at
least two additional times to push oil into bearings.
