Front fork
Removing the fork legs
The following instructions describe the procedure
for removing one fork but are applicable for both
forks.
•
Support the front of the vehicle, fasten-
ing a suitable strap to the handlebar
and to a hoist.
•
Place a support stand under the sump
and fit the rear support stand.
•
Remove the front wheel and the front
brake callipers.
•
Loosen the screw fastening the fork to
the top steering yoke.
•
Loosen the two screws fastening the
fork to the bottom steering yoke.
•
Pull the fork stanchion out from below.
Disassembling the fork

THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS REFER TO A SINGLE WHEEL HOLDER STEM / SLEEVE BUT
APPLY TO BOTH.
