Rotate the pinion lock plate to remove

Inspection
•
Check the state of the teeth of the front and rear sprockets. If excessively worn, replace: the
rear sprocket, front sprocket and drive chain.
CAUTION
TO PREVENT NEW COMPONENTS FROM WEARING PREMATURELY, REPLACE ALL THREE
TOGETHER AS A SET.
Installing
•
To install the front sprocket, follow the procedure for removal described previously in reverse
order, tightening the screws to the specified torque.
