If, after checking the deflection, it is necessary to
adjust the chain tension, follow the instructions
given below.
•
Place the vehicle on the specific rear
support stand.
•
On both sides of the vehicle, loosen the
nut (1) completely.
•
Turn the adjuster screw (2) relative to
the reference markings (3) to adjust
chain deflection.
•
The nuts must be turned by the same
amount relative to the reference mark-
ings (3) on both sides.
•
Tighten the nuts (1).

IF THE DEFLECTION MEASURED IS LARGER IN CERTAIN
POSITIONS, THIS IS INDICATIVE OF CRUSHED OR
SEIZED CHAIN LINKS.
LUBRICATE THE CHAIN REGULARLY TO PREVENT THE
RISK OF SEIZURE.
CAUTION
THE SPECIFIC OPTIONAL REAR SUPPORT STAND IS
