Repla ce the springs if t hey are shorter than the
se ", iee limi ts.
VALVE
Inspect each va lve f or bending. burning or abrlorma l
stem wear.
Check valve movement in the guide, measure and
record
each valve stem 0,0.

Measure and reco rd each va l ve guide 1.0.
SERV ICE LIMIT; IN / EX ; 5.50 mm (0 .217 in)
Su btract each va l ve stem 0.0. from t he
corresponding guide 1.0 . to obtain the stem-to-guide
clearance.
SERVICE LIMIT S;
IN: 0.08 mm (0.003 in)
EX : 0.10 mm (0 .0 04 in)
