BRAKE SYSTEM

FRONT BRAKE
MeaSlJre the front brake lever free pl ay at the tip of
the lever.
FREE PLAY: 20 - 30 mm (3/ 4 - ' ·114 in)
M i
nor adjus tm en ts can be made with the upper
adjuster,
Loosen the lock nut and turn the adj uster u nti t the
free play is with in specification.
After adjustment, tig hten the lock nut.
Ma j or adj u stments can be made wi th t!'le l ower
adluster on the brake panel.
Loosen the lock nut and turn the adjusting n ut until
the free pl ay is within specification.
After adj ustment. tighten th e loc k nut.
REAR BRAKE
Peda l Height
Loosen the loc k nut and adjust the brake pedat
height by turni ng th" adjuster bo lt.
Retighten
the lock nut.
NOTE:
Adjust th e rear brake pedal free play after adjust i ng
Ihe brake pedal height .
